singapore camporama

ahahhehhehh...chris,i'm so sorry you had to actually read an empty post.i was lost for words because the camp was too awesome to comprehend *cough* jus kidding guys!!relax...

On the 3rd june, every expedition rangers were scurrying to get into the van to take off to the "ASIA'S CLEANEST LAND" and its darn right clean. To tell you the truth,my eyesight wasn't that blurr compared over here in malaysia, fyi. When we reached the campsite,i thought i was in kdu skool but much better....can you imagine they have nintendo wii as their Physical Exercise lesson?how cool is that?...no kidding, moving your arms and your hips(must see pet's) a lil is tiring already.

The next day was the day we were waiting for.......the launching of singapore camporama!!!!!aaahhh!!!yup, let me hear you scream!!!!hehehahah....ice breaker a go-getter!!every malaysian tried to get a spot on the stage but unfortunately, miss diane chew ching yi took it away from their hands!!!muahahahahah....and wat did i win??a resemblance of renee- a stuff pillow cow named Cloud by your beloved Tjin,RENEE! *wink*

Kids and adults alike were running and streaming from every stairways and classrooms. But there is one classroom which is the "IT" room, girls you know who i'm referring to,soccer guys!!!*melt*

Our timetables were packed with activities from futsal, high rope course, captain's ball, badminton, archery, ping-pong and loads more! this camp would be a successful losing weight camp,i'm totally serious....there's no time to see birds flying in the sky or recalling back what you did the other day.besides,i like how they provide bananas and apples as snacks,coolness....

Overall, this camp was an eye-opener somehow.i got to meet ppl from singapore and the stereotype of them being kiasu was just somehow made up, i think. We also had two guys from klang to join us which was also good and they are kenny and wei loong. Other than that, we got to look at how rangers in singapore work, full of passion and discipline is one of the main thing that gets them so organised!...

Spiritually, all of us were touched in one way or another. Seeing ppl fall on their knees begging to be touched by the holy spirit rekindled my fire for my God above. Seeing new believers being mould each day through night services were already a blessing and praises and worship were being roared out loud to affirm how great is Our God!!Amen!

The last day was the worst and it just strikes you on the head that this is the end already!!how fast!!and we exchanged hugs, numbers and e-mails....We will be missing how clean the city is and how they treat us so really good.

We headed onto the singapore's zoo and its amazing although it rained. We looked like ants shading ourselves under green leaves. The monkey there were obnoxious, especially their bum-bum..hehehahah...oh,the one animal that fascinates me the most is the pygmy hippo.it somehow looked so unreal, like it's a moton picture formed on the aquarium glass...other than that,my first sigt of otters were in that zoo, they're really cut and noisy..

Then,we headed back to our Malaysia....jam was horrible but managed to reach safely back the next day.

Lets just say this camp was overall good and its been great to join this event. To those who didn't join us,its okay...u can join in year 2012...aahh!!i'll be 21!!so old....

k,enjoy ur day!!take care!
