because He created the stars in the sky...

(4-8.09.09)

This mission trip would be my fourth one. But God’s grace just overflows and enriches me each time I go.The Lord shows Himself in many ways that you can never imagine. Just simple things such as playing games with the children, or eating with them, I feel God’s love amongst the people. They do not have much in their lives. But what they have, they are contented with it. I love seeing the children smile. When they smile, they mean it. There is no hidden motive behind the smile, it is pure joy.:)

Though we are surrounded with so many materialistic things, but are we truly happy? God reminds me over and over again each day that life is about loving other people. Reaching out to those unreached, spreading God’s love to those that needs it.

this is the first all leaders mission trip.we were READY.ready for anything.ready to work, PLAY, serve, live, worship etc.i was the youngest there, but trust me, i didn't even feel like there was any age gap at all! they're all as crazy and hyper and gilaaa as me and diane can get.;)

Being a great Ranger leader is more than just knowing how to tie knots, set up a tent and cook over an open fire.
It's about having a desire and a passion to see children's lives changed. It's about realising that you're the one who will make a difference in their life. It's about understanding that in order to act differently you have to think differently.
there's only 2 choices. You can't sit on the fence. You can only be hot or cold. "Can do" or "will not".

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11 says:

" There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
What does the worker gain from his toil?
I have seen the burden God has laid on men.
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the hearts of men;
yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

be blessed and go be a blessing! :)
