Best Rangers testing is a testing 'camp' to test a ranger.
only the best few are selected from each outpost.
they're tested on different aspects: lashing, fire, first aid, rope craft, compass, tool craft.
there would be an interview where you will face a panel of councilmen, bombarding questions at you.then there would be a theory test.bible and rangers related stuff.

the first time i was chosen for best ranger (when i was 13 if I've not mistaken), I was really stressed out.NO talking throughout the whole testing! (it's REALLY BADDDD)
facing poker-faced scary commanders.finding wood, starting a fire by yourself, abseil yourself down a slope, navigating your way out a jungle and a whole lot more.imagine all of that.
with LOTSA PRESSURE.

I didn't win the title.but I did learn.a lot.

now that I'm 18.I'm a junior commander.

standing on the other side during parade is a pretty cool feeling.my heart rate is perfectly normal.:) i can smile and talk freely.yes.indeed.being a tester is FUN.=D

You fall, you stand up, you clean the bruise, patch it up and move on. remember the scar there.and don't repeat the same mistake again.:)

it's not easy to take up the challenge to be the best.i almost broke down once.winning is not everything.some people may just carry the title and not live up to it.
God is our master ranger.and rangers is not just about all the outdoor fun camping skills.

when we put on our uniform, do we carry Jesus with us?
are we proud of it?
